Valley of Rainbows Club
Grade 6 female students are invited to join the Valley of Rainbows after school club. The mission of the Valley of Rainbows organization is to prepare individuals to embrace a diverse community, attain their personal goals, and aspire to become contributing citizens. This club participates in several main activities throughout the year:
- Global Youth Service Day: this is a community service project planned and executed by members of the Valley of Rainbows club. Past events have included sign waving for various causes and fundraising for school supplies for underprivileged NES students.
- Annual Youth Leadership Conference: this is a once-a-year event where NES girls attend with Grade 8 and High School female students from the Waiʻanae coast. Participants listen to exciting and educational guest speakers and get to network with other schools from the area.
